Politics and the Tilton Family!
My Great-Great Grandfather served in the Civil War with the Ohio 2nd Heavy Artillery. After the war John was a member of the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic), and the Republican Party, He served on the local school board.
Grandfather Ray Tilton is pictured below (center) with President John F. Kennedy who was a Senator running for President. Ray Tilton was a Democrat and served 4 terms as the Butler County Auditor.
